A long kitchen island in honed stone, pale oak millwork and a dining table beyond — cooking as the centre of the house.

Challenge. Kitchens often look temporary. This one had to feel like architecture.

Design response. Integrated appliances, a single sculptural pendant, joinery to the ceiling. The table is already in the room.
