Laterite Stair
Brief
A sculptural timber stair against laterite, cut by a sliver of skylight — movement as the house’s most precise object.
Challenge. Stairs are circulation. They can also be the moment a house is remembered.
Design response. Grain against stone. A narrow light from above. Geometry kept severe so the materials can speak.
Experience. Tactile, vertical, slow to climb.
